Rylee Sietsema, senior pitcher, threw 135 pitches scattering 7 hits in the 7 inning game.

The win keeps Kenyon-Wanamingo in first place in the Gopher Conference tied with NRHEG and United South Central.

Kenyon-Wanamingo is scheduled to host Dover-Eyota Friday at 4:30 p.m. Waterville-Elysian-Morristown is off until Monday when they go to Wells to compete against United South Central at 5:00 p.m.

The Randolph fastpitch softball team went undefeated in their State Championship season last year and finished third at state this spring despite graduating most of their players from last year's squad.

Junior pitcher Ayden Qualey scattered 5 hits while going the distance for the Falcons. Qualey struck out 6, walked 2.

North Branch came into the game on a two game win streak. They are coached by former Faribault Falcon Steve Christensen.

Faribault (0-5) entertains North Branch (3-3) Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. The Vikings are coached by former Falcon Steve Christensen.
