Goodhue will face #3 seed Albany in the Semifinals at 8:00 p.m. Friday in Williams Arena. The game will be broadcast on KDHL Radio, 920 AM, 95.9 FM and the FREE KDHL app.

Goodhue losses came against Class 3A State entrant Stewartville twice and top-rated Providence Academy.

Section 1A and 1AA Championship games are on Thursday, March 9, 2023 in Rochester.

Minnesota Basketball News has released their updated rankings for the Top 20 teams in each class of girls and boys high school basketball. The Owatonna Huskies boys have been on a roll lately and are rated #19 in the biggest schools class this week.

Hayfield dropped to #10 in 1A.

Class 4A has three South Suburban Conference teams in the top 13. Four Big Nine teams, four Hiawatha Valley League teams are included in the rankings.

The Rochester Rotary Holiday Classic girls and boys basketball tournament announced this week that next week will be the final Rotary sponsored event after a 34 year run.

There was a tie for the final spot in Class A. Over the four classes the group is comprised of 22 seniors, 11 juniors, 5 sophomores, 1 freshmen and two 8th graders.
