Rice County Commissioners approved the final 2024 Tax Levy and Budget.

Commissioners also discussed a Remote Work Policy for employees.

The hope is to start construction on the project next May. He did not give a timeline for it's completion but this is not your average roundabout.

Luebbe also said the County Road 9 Interchange Feasibility Study will be starting soon.

Sara Folsted, County Admiinistrator told commissioners the appointment is from June 1, 2022 through May 31, 2026.

Commissioners also unanimously approved awarding a Professional Engineering contract to Stonebrooke Engineering for work at the Public Safety Center.

Luebbe told the County Board of Commissioners resources used for mowing could be better utilized elsewhere.
