Three of final eight teams in Class B Tournament are from Section one. New Market, Miesville and Rochester. Austin advanced from Region 5.

Region 3 teams New Prague and St. Benedict were defeated in their openers.

In 1930 Claremont became the first team to suffer a game called by the 10-run rule. LeSueur defeated them 15-0. It was the only trip to state for a Claremont team according to MBA records.
