The 16-year-old boy was involved in a 3-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon.

Rochester Public Schools Superintendent Kent Pekel sent out an email Saturday afternoon concerning the tragic news.

"We are aware of rumors circulating about an Instagram post by an individual suggesting a plan to bring a gun to school on April 20th."
