First responders were called to the crash shortly before 5:30 p.m.

The State Corrections Department issued an arrest warrant for him after Olmsted County prosecutors decided to release him without charges on Friday.

The Sheriff says the Department of Corrections denied a request to have Lewison taken into custody for violating his probation.

Byron High School issued the first lockdown around 9:20 Thursday morning. Within the next hour, Kasson-Mantorville, Triton and Hayfield schools also initiated lockdowns.

So far limited information is available, however officials from the school districts indicate the decisions to lockdown were made out of an abundance of caution.

The crash was reported just before 10 AM.
