The Blue Earth County Sheriff's Office says a motorcyclist hit speeds of around 160 mph during a pursuit Wednesday night.

The charges say the arsonist was recorded by surveillance cameras at the house.

The deadly collision occurred at a rural intersection just south of Mankato.

He is accused of killing a store employee after he was asked to pay for some meat that he opened and was eating inside the business.

He is also facing sentencing tomorrow for check forgery convictions in the Mankato area.

A plan to steal marijuana vape cartridges led to the murder.

Investigators suspect he inadvertently started the tractor while it was in gear.

The charges say he told Mankato police investigators that he was hearing voices.

One of the men fell through the ice and deputies had to enter the frigid water to rescue him.

The conviction stems from a 2022 investigation triggered by a State Auditor's report.
