Officers responded to the robbery around 9:20 Wednesday night.

The phone call that resulted in a lockdown at Riverland College was traced to an Austin resident.

Austin Police Chief David McKichan said in a statement, “Our agency is aware of the reports of a lockdown at Riverland’s Austin campus.”

The 3rd man convicted for a deadly drive-by shooting in Austin was sentenced Thursday.
