Soup And Basketball

On Friday the 13th, there was a soup and pie supper fundraiser for the NRHEG band, which will help with their trip this summer. There was a good variety of pie, including peach, which I have discovered is one of my favorites. The soups included California Medley, very good, Chicken Noodle, Chicken Wild Rice and Chili. They had a good turnout.

Then the NRHEG boys basketball game was also going on. That went into OT and NRHEG beat USC 73-66. The halftime entertainment featured future hoopsters playing. They were pretty good. Be sure to listen to the High School Coaches Show at 9 a.m.

Also a note to pass on, there will be two one-act plays on Valentine's night at 7:30 and then a matinee on Sunday the 15th at 2 p.m. at NRHEG High School. They are "A Memory of Harold" and "The Brothers of Grimm Spectaculathon."
