These Are Now The Most-Loved Cars in Minnesota
Here in Minnesota, we love our vehicles. From trucks and SUVs that tackle those snowy roads in the winter, to sedans and minivans that sip gas on summer lake runs, we now know just which cars are the most-loved here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
While we Minnesotans may be known for our love of the great outdoors, it seems we also have a soft spot for our four-wheeled friends. And there are a lot of them on the roads here in the North Star State these days. Which makes sense, seeing as the average household in Minnesota is now home to two vehicles.
According to data from the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration, there are currently 1,827,137 vehicles on the roads here in Minnesota in 2024. Which is a decent amount, but pales in comparison to the over 13 million cars on the road in California and the 8 million vehicles currently licensed down in Texas!

But just which of those 1.8 million vehicles do we love the most here in the Bold North? That's the question a new survey from iSeeCars set out to answer. While it’s not easy to define 'love' for a car, iSeeCars noted that 'when an original owner keeps a vehicle for more than 15 years it’s safe to assume they’re pretty happy with their ride,' the survey said.
15 years is a long time to own the same car, isn't it? The longest I've owned the same vehicle was 14 years, from 2008 to 2022. The average car owner in Minnesota and across the country usually drives the same vehicle for an average of 8 years, so Minnesotans must *really* love the following vehicles the iSeeCars’ study identified, right?
