Costco Recalls Cold Medicine
A warning to all Minnesotans who shop at Costco: if you purchased cold medicine from them, make sure to check the box before taking any more medicine to see if it's part of the recall!
Costco made the official announcement a few days ago that they are recalling their Kirkland Signature Severe Cold & Flu Plus Congestion. If you purchased that product between October 30, 2024 and November 30, 2024 your box may be impacted.
The reason for the recall is due to "the accidental release and shipment" of this medicine "that was rejected due to potential foreign material contamination."
If you have this medicine, check the side of the box by the expiration date. The lot number is next to the expiration date. The lot number affected by the recall is P140082.
If this recall affects you, do not take any more of the medicine. Costco is asking people to bring the box back to the store for a full refund. You can also contact the manufacturer of the medicine, LNK International Inc., at 1-800-426-9391 or complaints-inquiries@lnkintl.com, if you have any questions or complaints.
