Undated (KROC-AM News)- Multiple tornadoes were reported across southeast Minnesota Wednesday evening.

The National Weather Service in La Crosse issued five tornado warnings as the strong storm system rumbled across the area. 

Multiple videos of the tornados have surfaced. 

National Weather Service: At Least Six Tornados Reported in Southern Minnesota

National Weather Service Meteorologist Tyler Hasenstein tells the Minnesota News Network that the agency is looking into at least six tornado reports across the southern part of the state.

He said the first signs of rotation were located in Freeborn County. A farm’s outbuildings in Hartland, which is about 14 miles northwest of Albert Lea, were damaged by severe weather.

Storm chasers recorded footage of two tornados. One video shows a funnel touching down near Zumbro Falls. Another video depicts a tornado on the ground near Hokah. 

Iowa State University's Iowa Environmental Mesonet also took reports of a tornado south of Lake City. As of Thursday morning no injuries have been reported. 

There’s no word yet if National Weather Service storm survey teams have been dispatched to the area. Thursday’s forecast indicates southeast Minnesota may not be out of the woods yet for severe weather. 

The Storm Prediction Center has the majority of the region, including Rochester, Faribault, Owatonna, Winona and Austin, at a risk level one for severe weather Thursday afternoon. 

Southern portions of Fillmore and Houston Counties are at risk level two. The main threats are possible tornadoes and localized flooding. Rainfall predictions of at least one inch are widespread across southeast Minnesota Thursday.
