
73-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit by Semi Along Minnesota Highway
The pedestrian was crossing Hwy. 5 from west to east when she hit by the semi, which was making a right turn from eastbound Hwy. 5 to Hwy. 25, the state crash report says.
Green Isle, MN (KROC-AM News)- A woman was struck and killed by a semi truck on a Minnesota highway.

That’s according to the State Patrol, which says the deadly incident occurred around 7:20 Wednesday morning.
The fatal collision happened at an intersection in a small southern Minnesota town.

The deadly semi truck-pedestrian crash occurred at the intersection of Hwys. 5 and 25 in Green Isle, which is about 30 miles west of Shakopee.
The pedestrian was crossing Hwy. 5 from west to east when she hit by the semi, which was making a right turn from eastbound Hwy. 5 to Hwy. 25, the state crash report says.
73-year-old Mary Ann Ott of Green Isle was identified as the pedestrian. She was pronounced dead at the scene, the State Patrol says.
35-year-old Blaine Jeffrey Feil was driving the semi. The State Patrol says the Gaylord, MN man was not hurt.
Alcohol was not a factor in the fatality, the state crash report indicates.
