
State Patrol: Man & Woman From Rochester Hospitalized After Motorcycle Hits Deer on Hwy. 14
The motorcycle was traveling west on Hwy. 14 east of Eyota when it struck a deer. The collision with the animal caused the motorcycle to leave the two-lane highway and enter the ditch.
Eyota, MN (KROC-AM News)- A motorcycle crash on an Olmsted County highway put a man and woman from Rochester in the hospital.

The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly after 7:30 Monday night. First responders found the motorcycle in the ditch.
Man and Woman from Rochester Taken to Hospital After Striking Deer with Motorcycle on Hwy. 14
The state crash report says the motorcycle was traveling west on Hwy. 14 east of Eyota when it struck a deer. The collision with the animal caused the motorcycle to leave the two-lane highway and enter the ditch.
46-year-old Charles Logan Behrens was identified by the State Patrol as the motorcycle operator. Authorities identified his passenger as 41-year-old Amber Lynn Behrens.

Charles and Amber were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
Neither one of the motorcycle riders were wearing a helmet and alcohol was not involved in the crash, according to the state crash report.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Eyota Fire Department, Eyota Ambulance and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the crash.
