Golden Milk is what you get when you put milk together with turmeric (plus flavoring). Scroll down for a recipe. Turmeric reportedly has healing benefits, though Mayo Clinic says that's not 100% locked down yet.

Does the Turmeric In Golden Milk Work?

That's a good question. Mayo Clinic says yes and no.

"It's too early to declare turmeric a wonder drug. That's because limited data support the claimed health benefits of turmeric (providing some improvement in joint pain, anxiety, and depression, and decreasing triglycerides and low-density lipoprotein, or LDL or "bad," cholesterol0).

Research continues to explore what if any benefits can be gained from turmeric or curcumin. Also, turmeric comes with clear risks — some serious — including unintended drug interactions." (Mayo Clinic)
