
Car Carrying Two Ten-Year-Olds Involved in Fatal Minnesota Construction Zone Crash

New Ulm, MN (KROC-AM News)- There was a fatal crash in a southern Minnesota construction zone on Tuesday.

That’s according to the State Patrol which has released preliminary information about the fatality. Two vehicles were involved in the deadly collision.
One of the drivers was a teenager, who was transporting two children. The death toll from the crash is not yet available.

State Patrol Responds to Fatal Crash in Hwy. 15 Construction Zone Near New Ulm
The deadly crash occurred shortly after 1:45 p.m. at the intersection of Hwy. 15 and 170th St., which is about eight miles south of New Ulm.
A southbound minivan was stopped for road construction when a southbound car smashed into the minivan, the state crash report says.
Two people from Madelia, MN were riding in the van. The names and conditions of the 75-year-old woman driving and the 83-year-old male passenger have not been released.
An 18-year-old woman from Sioux Falls was driving the car. Two 10-year-old children were riding with her, according to the State Patrol.
The names and conditions of the car occupants have also not been released.
The State Patrol plans to release more information about the fatal crash by Wednesday afternoon.
