Check Out the NOAA October, November, December Outlook for Minnesota
According to NOAA's 2024 Fall Outlook for the United States, Minnesotans could expect a fairly decent chance for near-average conditions, with essentially an equal chance for above or below normal temperatures, and above or below normal precipitation.
We could use a bit more moisture now that the majority of Minnesota is currently listed as being 'abnormally dry' or in 'moderate drought,' by the U.S. Drought Monitor.
NOAA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the parent agency of the National Weather Service says that most of Minnesota can expect the nearly-average trend to continue this fall.

Three Month Temperature Outlook for October, November & December
Based on the current outlook we are looking at a near-equal chance for a warmer than normal or cooler than normal fall.
It has been a warm and dry late summer across just about all of Minnesota. This comes after record-breaking spring and early summer rains in the region. What fall and winter actually have in store for us is anybody's guess -- but at least according to NOAA's three month outlook, things look to be trending near normal.
By the way, most of the seasonal almanacs are calling for a colder and snowier winter for Minnesota.
