Southeast MN Football & Volleyball Teams Punch Tickets to State Tournament

Undated (KROC-AM News)- It's state tournament time in Minnesota.

Section 1 playoffs for football and volleyball in southeast Minnesota came to an end on Saturday.

Seven football teams and three volleyball teams from the area were crowned section champions and punched their tickets.

Below are the state tournament brackets for football and Volleyball, broken down by class.

2025 Minnesota Volleyball State Tournament Brackets

The Fillmore Central Falcons, Chatfield Gophers and Stewartville Tigers all repeated as section champions.

The Falcons will face Ada-Borup-West on Thursday, Chatfield faces Esko on Thursday and Stewartville takes on Mahtomedi on Wednesday. All games are at Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul.

2025 Minnesota High School Football State Tournament Bracket

Mabel-Canton, Fillmore Central, Caledonia, Goodhue, Pine Island, Kasson-Mantorville and Rochester Mayo all punched their tickets to state on Friday.

Mabel-Canton, Goodhue and Kasson-Mantorville get started on Thursday. Fillmore Central plays on Friday. Caledonia, Pine Island and Rochester-Mayo wrap up the quarterfinals on Saturday.

Mabel-Canton plays at Buffalo High School, Fillmore Central is at Mayo High School in Rochester, Caledonia plays at Orono High School, Goodhue is at Hastings High School, Pine Island plays at Totino Grace High School, Kasson-Mantorville is at Stillwater High School and Rochester Mayo plays at Woodbury High School.

The state football semi finals and Prep Bowl games will be played at US Bank Stadium in Downtown Minneapolis.
