Iowa Woman Arrested for Gun Incident on Hwy. 52 in Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- An Iowa woman was arrested in connection to a reported road rage incident involving a gun in Rochester.
That’s according to Rochester Police Lt. Jennifer Hodgeman, who says the victim called 911 Friday reporting another motorist had pointed a gun at them on Hwy. 52. The report on the incident the alleged gun threat occurred after a merging issue.
Hodgeman says officers got a description of the vehicle and tracked it north out of Rochester through MnDOT traffic cameras. A Rochester Police Officer and State Trooper then stopped the suspect vehicle south of Pine Island.
Hodgeman says two hand guns were found in the vehicle. She identified the suspect as 39-year-old Eboni Shantea Foster, who was arrested on suspicion of terroristic threats and other charges relating to weapons violations.
Hodgeman says Foster does have a permit to carry a firearm in Iowa but said Iowa gun permits are not valid in Minnesota.
