Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Motorists are being advised to expect traffic delays while traveling east of Rochester on Highway 14 over the next several days.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says crews will be conducting crack sealing work beginning tomorrow and running through Friday. The work will take place on Highway 14 between Marion Road and Chester Road.

A news release says motorists may face a short wait in line to take turns passing through the work zone while a flagger stops traffic and directs vehicles to follow a pilot car.

MnDOT notes alternate routes are available to motorists seeking to avoid road work related delays. The alternate routes include Collegeview Road East to Highway 42 and then south back to Highway 14 at Eyota.
