
3 Dead from Suspected Rochester-Area Drug Overdoses
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office suspects that drug overdoes claimed the lives of three people in a span of less than 48 hours.

That’s according to Captain Tim Parkin who announced the suspected fatal drug overdoses on Monday.
He says both cases are open and under ongoing investigation. The lives were lost in a pair of separate suspected drug overdoses and authorities found drug paraphernalia at both scenes.
Man Pronounced Dead at Scene of Suspected Drug Overdose in Rochester, MN
Deputies responded to the first suspected fatal drug overdose on Thursday in the 3800 block of Highway 14 East in Rochester. Parkin says deputies found an unresponsive man in his 50’s laying on the floor around 11:30 a.m.
Deputies and a Mayo Clinic Ambulance crew administered life-saving measures but the man was pronounced dead at the scene, Parkin said.
Suspected Drug Overdose in Stewartville, MN Claims Lives of Two Men
Just over a day later, deputies responded to the second suspected drug overdose call at a home on Cardinal Ln. Northwest in Stewartville.
Parkin says deputies found two unresponsive men in their 30’s around 2:00 Saturday morning.
Stewartville First Responders, a Mayo Clinic Ambulance crew and deputies all administered life-saving measures but the men were also pronounced dead at the scene.
