Pine Island, MN (KROC-AM News) - One person was transported to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester following a single-vehicle crash in Pine Island this afternoon.

The Pine Island Fire Department reports that its crews responded around 1:55 p.m. to a report of a crash on the County Road 11 bridge over Highway 52. A news release says Goodhue County Sheriff’s deputies also responded to the scene, where the driver of the vehicle was suffering from an unknown medical condition.

The driver’s name and information about the individual’s medical condition have not been released. Details concerning the cause of the crash were also not available.

The Pine Island Fire Department indicated the driver was wearing a seat belt. Road conditions were described as clear at the time of the incident.
