Dodge Center Woman Injured in Crash at Highway 14 Intersection
Byron, MN (KROC-AM News) - A young woman was transported to St. Mary's Hospital following a two vehicle crash on Highway 14 near Byron this afternoon.
The State Patrol says the collision was reported around 1:20 PM on the western edge of Byron at the intersection of the highway and 280th Avenue. The crash report indicates 20-year-old Jaedyn Buenvenida of Dodge Center was driving south on 280th Avenue when her vehicle collided with a pickup that was traveling west on Highway 14.
Mayo Clinic Ambulance responded and transported the young woman, who had what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the pickup was identified as 24-year-old Gavin Waltz of Owatonna. He and his 23-year-old passenger were not injured.
The State Patrol says all three people involved in the crash were using seatbelts.
