
$100,000 Cash Seized in Rochester Drug Raid
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Felony charges have been filed against a Rochester man in connection with a drug raid that was conducted by the Southeast Minnesota Violent Crimes Enforcement Team earlier this week.
According to the criminal complaint in the case, law enforcement investigators conducted a knock and announce search warrant at an apartment in the 2700 block of Commerce Drive Northwest on Wednesday. The court document says the search led to the seizure of several hundred cannabis vape cartridges weighing a total of 3 1/2 pounds.
The criminal complaint says the search also led to the discovery of more than $100,000 in cash, a cash counter, heat sealer, and a bulk amount of cannabis packaging. A safe was also found in the apartment and it contain a pistol with no serial number and an empty Glock 9 mm magazine.

The occupant of the apartment, 20-year-old Koby Glen Heil, has been charged with first-degree drug possession, possession of a firearm with no serial number, and the misdemeanor count of third-degree sale of cannabis concentrate.
He has been given a summons ordering him to appear in court for formal arrangement on the charges later this month.
