Delta Recognizing 100K Random Acts of Kindness this Month
Delta Airlines, with a hub in Minnesota, is getting into the holiday spirit this month as they are celebrating 100 years of service.
EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS CAN BE REWARDED
What Delta is doing in order to celebrate their 100 year mark is to award people with a limited edition holiday medallion card. What does that do for you? You can redeem the card for some exclusive gifts.
This spotlight on kindness will continue from now through January 5th. Right through the holiday season. What's really great about this program is that you don't have to be a skymiles member, or any other sort of rewards program. These medallion cards will be given to whomever shows an act of kindness to someone else.
Erik Snell, Delta’s chief customer experience officer:
WHAT ARE THE GIFTS THAT YOU CAN REDEEM WITH THE MEDALLION CARD
Holiday Medallion card recipients can redeem a surprise gift* on Delta Shop – ranging from exclusive Delta Centennial merchandise to a limited number of Centennial Gift Sets featuring two commemorative trading cards and a $500 Delta Gift Card to put toward their next dream vacation.
That all sounds pretty cool, especially the $500 towards another trip. Although it sounds like you don't get to pick your prize, but they do sound pretty good. Something that you didn't have before.
So, if you are planning a trip over the holidays - now through the 5th of January, be your nice, kind self and you could be rewarded for that act. It's so easy to be kind.
