When driving for yourself is no longer an option, everyday life can quickly become challenging, especially for those living in rural communities. Regardless of your age, transportation plays a crucial role in maintaining independence, health, and social well-being. Whether it’s grocery shopping, visiting friends, attending medical appointments, or taking a simple day trip, reliable transportation is essential.

For many rural Minnesotans, those opportunities have felt out of reach. That’s why Tri-CAP’s new transit route is such a big deal.

NEW TRI-CAP ROUTE HELPS RURAL MINNESOTANS STAY CONNECTED

As of June 4, Tri-CAP is offering a brand-new weekly route connecting the communities of Princeton, Milaca, and Foley to St. Cloud. The service runs every Wednesday and is open to anyone who needs a ride. This means rural residents now have consistent, reliable access to a regional hub where shopping, healthcare, social activities, and more are available.

TRI-CAP TAKES YOU WHERE YOU WANT TO GO

Even better, once you arrive in St. Cloud, the Tri-CAP bus can take you wherever you need to go within the city. That includes medical clinics, stores, salons, restaurants, or simply a visit with a friend.

Because of the addition of this new route, Tri-CAP’s service to Zimmerman on Wednesdays will be discontinued.

For rural residents who may feel cut off from resources and opportunities, this new route provides more than just a ride—it restores freedom, dignity, and connection.

To schedule a ride, call Tri-CAP at 320-251-1612, Option 1, or visit their website for more detailed information.
