The State of Minnesota just sent out a notice that by November, more than 300 employees of a rehab facility will be without jobs. The business "has decided to dissolve its operations," according to the release.

Centrex Dissolving Meaning 300+ Soon To Be Out Of A Job

According to the State of Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) release Centrex Rehab "has made the decision to wind up its operations and dissolve. Accordingly, its home site located at the Affected Location will be permanently closed. As a result, all employees in all positions of Centrex will be terminated effective November 7, 2025, at least sixty (60) days from the date of this notice."

The number of affected employees is 311.

Job Placement Assistance Is Being Offered

According to a letter from Centrex Rehab to DEED, there will be some job placement assistance. "Centrex is actively working to secure employment opportunities for the majority of affected employees."

What Is Centrex?

Centrex offers up occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physical therapy at or inside of "nursing communities, senior housing, assisted living, hospitals, clinics, schools, and other venues," according to a 2017 press release.
