Zoos can be fun for the whole family, and it seems like in the last ten years they have been getting better at offering more for people to enjoy.

Some are having adult only nights with live music and also featured family days with plenty of activities beyond just seeing the animals.

News to me as of today is that the Lake Superior Zoo in Duluth is letting you feed the animals.  I'm not talking about just some bunnies or smaller or barnyard ones which I knew, but bigger ones too.

The Lake Superior Zoo offers four different feeding experiences.  You can feed otters, barnyard animals, red pandas, and even brown bears.  In addition to those four feeding experiences, they have over 300 animals and 140 species to check out.

If you enjoy zoo experiences especially with the kiddos, other than regular admission prices, they offer a Zoo Membership.  Not only does it save you money if you visit often, but it also helps support the great events and opportunities like feeding the animals.

A membership also has benefits of free or reduced entry to zoos and aquariums all around the nation.
