
This Will Be The Biggest K-pop Concert In Minnesota History
The popularity of K-pop has exploded across the United States over the last several years. Global superstars like BTS, BLACKPINK, and NewJeans have driven the genre’s mainstream success, filling arenas and dominating streaming platforms.
K-pop’s Rise in Minnesota
One of the defining groups of what’s known as the “third generation” of K-pop is a nine-member girl group from South Korea. Since their debut, they have sold more than 20 million albums, collected over 10 billion total streams worldwide, and built a massive following with more than 18.6 million YouTube subscribers. Their music videos have billions of views, and their choreography is instantly recognizable to fans across the globe.

Minnesota’s First Historic Stop
The name of the group is Twice, and they just announced their “This Is For” World Tour, which will make a historic stop at Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul on April 12, 2026. This marks Twice’s first-ever performance in Minnesota, making it the largest K-pop concert in the state’s history.

A New Era for Fans
Twice is touring in support of their 4th studio album, This Is For. They also recently contributed music to Netflix’s hit film K-Pop Demon Hunters. Tickets for the Minnesota concert go on sale Thursday, October 9, with a special artist presale from 11 AM to 2 PM before the general on-sale begins at 3 PM.
The tour kicked off in Incheon, South Korea on July 19 and will span Asia, Europe, and North America, with 56 total stops and 17 U.S. dates. Fans in Minnesota are calling this a “historic event” that finally brings a top-tier K-pop group to the state.
