Minnesota Woman Stabbed Her Boyfriend After Found Tinder App
According to mncrime.com, a woman from the very small town of Landfill Minnesota is facing multiple charges all over an argument she had with her boyfriend who she found out was on the dating App Tinder. Jenna Renee Malika Nelson got into a verbal argument with her boyfriend over the app which quickly escalated into a violent altercation all taking place in front of their two-year-old daughter.
The situation escalated quickly as Nelson smashed a window that was already broken and grabbed a piece of glass swinging it at her boyfriend. The boyfriend had told investigators that he held his arms up to protect himself, and was able to grab her arm and get the glass away from her. It was noted that he had multiple lacerations on his arms. Unfortunately, their daughter was awake during the entire incident but thankfully was not injured in the process.
Police met up with Nelson at her workplace where she admitted to stabbing her boyfriend with a piece of glass after she found out he was cheating on her. When the officers told her she was under arrest she started yelling and hyperventilating and officers tried to put her in handcuffs.
Nelson was not cooperating and was moved to the ground where she continued to yell and struggle with officers. While on the ground she attempted to grab the waistband area of one of the officers whose gun was holstered. She was told multiple times not to touch the weapon but she moved her hand under the officer's shirt and got her hand on the gun trying to pry it from the holster. Police then had to use force to remove her hand from the weapon.
"Nelson made an initial court appearance on March 3, where bail was set at $50,000 with no conditions or $10,000 with conditions, including no alcohol or drug use, remain law abiding and have no contact with the residence or her boyfriend."
I can't believe they even set bail, what if she gets out? If I was her boyfriend I would be scared to death that she would come after me, it seems like a piece of paper telling her to stay away from him may not be enough. No word on if she made bail.
