Some Jerk Stole a Cub Scout Trailer from Wisconsin Church Parking Lot
One Cub Scout pack in Wisconsin is looking for the public's help locating its trailer that was stolen from a church parking lot.
Some jerk around 8:15 PM on Saturday, September 7th, thought it would be a good idea to steal a trailer filled with equipment used by the local scouting organization.

The trailer was taken from the United Presbyterian Church in Superior, security cam footage from nearby shows someone in a silver colored truck, maybe an older Chevy truck, pulling the trailer away from the scene of the crime.
Cub Scout Pack 221in Superior is looking for any information that can help lead authorities to trailer. Anyone with information is encouraged to call either of the numbers listed on the flyer below, or just call the Superior Police Department.
I took my son to sign up for Scouts last night at an event at Superior Middle School, and learned from that gathering that the trailer was full of camping gear and other supplies that the Scouting pack uses on a regular basis, so this is a BIG loss for the organization.
Not the First Time
A similar incident happened last year, a trailer used to collect aluminum cans for fundraising for the Scouting Pack was stolen from the same location in Superior. That trailer was found, missing the cage and filled with scrap metal, but it was recovered by Superior Police.
Alert Given Nationwide on Trailer Safety
Trailers being stolen from Scout Troops around the country has become such a problem, that the Boy Scouts of America issued a safety update nationwide earlier this year encouraging local organizations to use locks, bright paint, and electronic devices like cameras or tracking devices to keep trailers and equipment safe.
