Wisconsin Among Least Sleep-Deprived States
Who doesn't love a good night of sleep? It is hard not to want to go to sleep extra early now that it gets dark so early. It's always an adjustment.
Now a new sleep study is shedding light on habits of Wisconsin residents and if you are a Wisconsinite, you'll probably be proud of this one. As a Minnesotan, I can't relate.

Earlier this year, Minnesota was named the best state for sleeping! According to this study, just under one-third of Minnesotans sleep less than seven hours a night. That's pretty impressive.
Now, it's Wisconsin that's shining in a sleep-related study. This will definitely give you some great dreams tonight.

From there, they looked at the total number of searches in each state, adjusted that number according to the population and then made their list. I always google what my dreams mean when I wake up but I can't say I have ever googled how to sleep better! Let's dive in.

It's really no surprise that New York is the most sleep-deprived state. With a city that never sleeps and things going on constantly, that totally makes sense. I love New York but I also love sleep. Ha!
A good rule of thumb for this time of the year is to avoid getting into your bed until its bedtime! Don't watch tv or read a book in bed until you're ready to sleep and hopefully that makes it easier to fall asleep.
It's also not a good idea to doomscroll or go on TikTok before bed but sometimes it's just too tempting!
