Winter Weather Advisories Issued Across Numerous Minnesota Counties
Tis the season - for constant winter weather alerts. There are several issued across Minnesota as we speak thanks to our first polar vortex of the season.
While it's not saying much considering how mild it has been this winter season so far, we are experiencing our coldest days of this winter season so far.

As of Wednesday afternoon (December 11th), there are several winter weather alerts across northern Minnesota, including Duluth.
According to the National Weather Service of Duluth, there are winter weather advisories, winter storm warnings and cold weather advisories.

Duluth and surrounding areas are under a cold weather advisory, which is the new verbiage for a wind chill advisory. Wind chills will drop to as cold as forty below later tonight, with the coldest temperatures expected early Thursday morning (December 12th).
The good news is that we will see a nice warmup into the weekend and it is going to feel tropical across the Northland! Other parts of the state are also dealing with cold temperatures so we aren't alone.
We are all used to the cold so you know how it goes by now! Make sure you bring your pets inside and limit your time outdoors unless it is absolutely necessary.
