Two Minnesota Cities Among The Best At Budgeting
I think we could all learn a little something when it comes to budgeting, no? Being better at it is my resolution for 2025 and I am doing pretty well this year!
A new study put out by WalletHub just dropped, and it lists the cities all over the country that are the very best at budgeting.
Surprisingly, two Minnesota cities made the top ten. No, neither is Duluth but hopefully some of the budgeting skills will rub off on us.
So which two cities are some of the best at budgeting?
Minneapolis Makes The List
Minneapolis was named the sixth best state for budgeting with St. Paul coming in just behind it at number eight. That's pretty impressive!

To get to this conclusion, WalletHub analysts looked at things like the average credit score, foreclosure rates and credit card utilization. It looks like Minneapolis and St. Paul residents are pros!
What About Wisconsin?
Wisconsin also did pretty good here! Madison was named the seventeenth best city for budgeting, while Milwaukee was named the fifty-third best state for budgeting. In fact, Madison actually has the lowest foreclosure rate of any other city on the list.
