Minnesota, Wisconsin Named Two Of The Most Independent States
We are just about a week away from the 4th of July and that means celebrations and time soaking in the great outdoors. It looks like we now have another reason to celebrate!
Minnesota and Wisconsin were just named two of the most independent states in the entire country. They were given this great title in a new study put out by WalletHub on Tuesday (June 25th).
What Does This Mean?
Overall, WalletHub looked at five types of dependency to come up with their rankings for each state: consumer finances, the government, the job market, international trade and vices. Factor these all together and you get a dependent state or the opposite.
Where Did Minnesota Rank?
Minnesota came in at number seven here! We were ranked number one in terms of financial dependency, meaning we are set up for a rainy day, so to speak.
