The Minnesota Lottery has a lot of games you can play to try and win big. There are games everyone knows, such as Powerball, Mega Millions, Lotto America, and more but there are other ways to test your luck.

North 5 is one such example. North 5 has players purchase tickets and pick five numbers from 1 to 31. Drawings are held every day at 6:17 p.m. To win the jackpot, you'd have to match all 5 numbers. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 169,911.00.

Big news arrived this week in the Northland when the Minnesota Lottery posted a huge North 5 jackpot win in Duluth.

The Minnesota Lottery says that some lucky person in Duluth bought a ticket with all 5 of those winning numbers and the $200,091 jackpot is all theirs!

The winning ticket was purchased at the Snyder Super Stop, located at 207 West Superior Street in downtown Duluth. The Snyder Super Stop is located on the 2nd level of the Holiday Shopping Center, just above our radio station studios!

According to the Minnesota Lottery website, that jackpot is currently unclaimed so we don't yet know who won. However, we may never find out unless they decide to come forward publicly. Lottery regulations are in place to protect winners who win over $10,000. This is because big-money winners can become targets for scammers and fraud, so the Minnesota Lottery will not divulge their name unless they first agree to it.

Hopefully whoever purchased that winning North 5 ticket checks the number from September 25 and still has that ticket!
