I love pickles! I prefer dill pickles over anything else (the more garlic, the better!). I've always had my favorite brands like Claussen and Nathan's. Those are pickles that are always kept cold and refrigerated to keep their crunchiness. Nobody wants a soggy pickle, right? Well, I tried a different pickle brand that was so crunchy I thought it must have also been one of the refrigerated brands. Nope! This one is right off the shelf.

Famous Dave's Pickles are from the Midwest BBQ franchise. Famous Dave's Retail headquarters is in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. I've never bought them before, and I honestly haven't seen them in stores, because I go right to the cold section to get my chilled pickles.

I had some friends over for a BBQ where I was grilling hamburgers. I realized I didn't have any pickles, so I asked one of my friends to pick up some pickles on the way. He showed up with Famous Dave's Classic Dill Pickle Chips.

I was intrigued. I honestly had never heard of them before. So I tried one, and I have to say it's the best dill pickles I've had off the shelf. It has great flavor, it's crunchy, and it comes in a 24-oz jar, so you have plenty to go around.

Famous Dave's products are sold at Cub Foods, Walmart, Target, Dollar General, and other retailers. They are also available to purchase online from Famous Products.
