It seems like over the past few years, scams have been on the rise. Maybe we just talk about them more thanks to social media. Either way, there's always one going around.

For example, just last week, scammers tried to scam people people out of tickets to the Duluth Airshow. Scam websites reportedly started popping up ahead of the event, leading to a warning from event organizers.

Also ahead of the holiday weekend, travel scams started popping up as we took to the open road for a little 4th of July getaway.

Now, there's another scam popping up just in time for the thick of summer and this one has a scary ruse attached to it. Now, the Attorney General has issued a warning to Minnesotans.
