We may only be just over a month away from the first official day of spring, with Daylight Saving having us spring forward before then, but there is still a lot of winter weather left to experience.

I'm stating the obvious since we were greeted this week by an arctic blast and Extreme Cold Warnings from the National Weather Service.

Of course, everyone in Wisconsin is well-equipped to handle winter weather, and a lot of winter-related actions are taken before and during the season. For example, I'm guessing there are snow emergency kits, or at least blankets, in vehicles as well as at least one snowbrush/ice scraper.

However, as prepared as we think we are in Wisconsin, it's important to remember that there may be things in our garage that could get damaged or even cause damage to your home if they are left there throughout the winter and into early spring.
