Win Prizes From Parks and Rec

The popular Park Passport program returns to Owatonna Parks and Rec next month. Go to the Parks and Rec web site and download your passport. Then travel to each of the parks and write down the word on the Parks and Rec's signs. Turn in your completed passport by October 11 and be eligible to win prizes. The signs go up September 7.

Prizes this year include a Caela's gift package  worth over $500. A $350 gift certificate toward Brooktree Golf Course. Also Bike package gift certificates to Straight River Sports and passes for next season to River Springs Water Park.

It's your opportunity to get out and enjoy Owatonna parks, get exercise and maybe win prizes.

Parks and Rec also announces that Woofstock is returning. Bring your four-legged buddy out to Lake Chase Park on September 14 between 5:30-9:30PM. Enjoy the movie "101 Dalmations" and sample food and drink from local vendors.
