The 29th annual Waseca Marching Band Classic is this Saturday, September 17. The parade through downtown Waseca begins at 12:30PM with more than 100 units. The parade will include, along with the marching bands, a classic car cruise, royalty, classic tractors and floats.

Bands competing this year are: Eagle Grove; NRHEG; Lennox, South Dakota; Pipestone; Stewartville; Lakeville South; and the Waseca Band marching in exhibition.

This year there will be four parade judges along with six field judges. The parade awards presentation will take immediately after the parade at the Trowbridge Park Bandstand.

At 5PM at the high school, the Marching Band Field Show will begin followed by the awards ceremony at 8PM and then fireworks to cap off the evening. Bands taking part in the Marching Band Show will be Spirit Lake, Pipestone, Lennox, Andover, Sioux City West, Lakeville South, Sioux Falls Washington, and Waseca marching in exhibition.
