Minnesota is home to a large and passionate Bloody Mary community. It was great to have so many people come celebrate with us. t took a lot of planning and hard work; all of us at the Garage have a great sense of pride in bringing this world record home to Minnesota. - Amy and Dan Madsen, Garage Bar & Bowl Owners

With COVID-19 safety precautions in place, a little over 150 people participated in setting the new world record. The event took over a year's worth of planning and rescheduling, as it was originally was slated to take place on May 17th, but due to COVID-19, was changed to October 3rd.

Our State closed all bars and restaurants due to the pandemic roughly one month before our event, so we had to postpone our world record attempt and restructure our operations to try and survive as a business. Now, with our state slowly reopening, we are able to hold our event – albeit in a very limited and controlled way
