NRHEG simply outgunned and outsized the Cardinals on Friday night to get the win 66-41.

The Panthers had jumped out to a pretty good lead and the Cardinals did not get their first basket until quite a few minutes were off the clock. NRHEG lead 34-22 at the half. I had the Cards shooting 12/46 from the two and 4/9 from the three and 7/13 from the charity stripe. Jack Clark had 12, Brendan Trump had 11, five from Kyle Ell, three each from Hunter Dienst, Alex Bongers and Avery Hunt, and two from Ben Jandro.

For the Panthers, 22 from Junior Oakley Baker and 14 from their big man, 6-foot-8 Tyler Raimann, also a junior, led they way.

NRHEHG has some talent back from last year and they have a height and size advantage on the Cardinals.

The Cardinals face Cleveland on the road Tuesday while the Panthers face Kenyon-Wanamingo on Monday night.
