TWolves help future Huskies

The Minnesota Timberwolves summer caravan stormed into the Owatonna High School gym on Wednesday to instruct and entertain nearly 200 kids.

Assistant Timberwolves coach Ryan Saunders (the son of head coach Flip Saunders) ran the kids through some defensive drills, in addition to dribbling and ball handling. Players Ronny Turiaf and Corey Brewer headlined the event.

Crunch was a huge hit with his high-flying-basketball-slamming antics.

youth1st made presentation to the Timberwolves representatives in appreciation of the Wolves organization helping out local basketball with a five-thousand-dollar grant through their Fastbreak Foundation.

The collage represented the Real Winning awards (certificate, plaque, etc) and pictures from the 16 teams selected through the OBA tournaments this winter. The teams also received a special ticket offer from the Timberwolves to attend a game as a team.
