Two Men Charged in Hayfield Machete Attack

Two men have been charged in a machete attack that was reported early Wednesday in Hayfield.

Charged with felony assault Thursday in Dodge County Court were 46-year-old Roderick Washington and 45-year-old Tommy Robinson, both from Hayfield.

The victim is also from Hayfield.

Dodge County Sheriff Scott Rose says the 27-year-old man suffered a serious head wound during the attack. The victim says he was assaulted by two men with a machete in an apartment after leaving a bar with them. Washington and Robinson told deputies the victim tried to rob them after he gave the two a ride home from the bar.
