Week three of the high school football season has arrived with some great local match-ups. A pair of 2-0 teams square off in Austin, where the Packers host the No. 2 Owatonna Huskies at 7PM on KRFO AM 1390.

Medford goes to Faribault to play Bethlehem in the annual "Battle for the Paddle" on KDHL AM 920. The Tigers are coming off a last minute 27-26 loss to Kenyon-Wanamingo. The Cardinals are 1-1 but have only scored one touchdown this season. They have only allowed 12 total points through two games. BA holds bragging rights with a 24-21 win last year.

Triton faces a top-ten rated team for the second straight week. The No. 8 Cobras, who nearly upset No. 1 Caledonia last week, play at No. 10 Chatfield. Blooming Prairie, who enters the Class A rankings at No. 10 this week, goes to Wabasha-Kellog for a 7PM kickoff on Kat Kountry 105. The schools last met in 2012 in a BP playoff win.

NRHEG, a Class AA team, travels to Norwood-Young America to play a team receiving votes in the Class AAA poll. Listen to the KRFO coach show each Saturday morning at 9AM for the analysis of the local games.
