If you have not done a trip around the state to see the fall colors, you are running out of time. And with today's winds, you may have even less time.

According to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Fall Color Site, most of northern Minnesota has already gone past the peak or is at 75-100 percent. As you come down the I-35 corridor from Duluth, there are still some places that are 50-75 percent, which is what most of the southern parts of the state are. There are a few places, like Rochester, that are still at 25-50 percent.

Before heading out, check out the DNR site for the latest information. And get out there and explore Minnesota.

For Ideas on other things to do, go to the Explore Minnesota site and you will get information about places to stay, things to do and where to go. Maybe there are still some fall festivals and events to check out as well.
