The Fight Against Cancer Continues This Weekend

With the Eagles Cancer Telethon coming up later this month, area groups are going full force in the fight against cancer. The 35th Geneva Cancer Auction resumes with their second weekend of auctions. Bidding starts Friday, January 18 at 7pm at the Geneva Bar and Grill and continues on Saturday at 2pm.

The Blooming Prairie Cancer Group invites the public to their fund raising pancake breakfast this Sunday from 8:30-12:30pm at the Pizza Cellar. There will also be silent auction items and kids are invited to bring coins for cancer. Youngsters can drop their coins into the fish bowl. Tickets for Purse Bingo will be on sale Sunday as well.

The Owatonna Eagles have their annual auction February 1 and 2 at the Eagles. You can learn more about their auction on Thursday, January 24 on Talk of the Town on AM 1390 at 9:40am.
