Waterville-Elysian-Morristown remained undefeated in Gopher Conference play with a 3-2 escape against Triton in Dodge Center.

The Huskies upset Farmington on Friday night 3-2 in the section quarterfinals. Owatonna High School will play at Rochester Mayo on Thursday, November 5, in the semifinals.

The Huskies won the opening set in Rochester, but trailed 10-0 and 24-17 in the second set before putting together a great rally on the way to a 3-0 Big Nine Conference sweep.

Hearts were heavy at the Owatonna gym Tuesday night. Just two days prior a player's father passed away at age 43. The team played their match in honor of Brian Schultz.

A Big Nine volleyball showdown looms Tuesday, Sept. 22 at the Owatonna High School gym. The same schools meet in a crucial Red Division game Friday, Sept. 25, at the Mayo football field.

Owatonna volleyball handed Rochester Century their first loss of the season on Tuesday. OHS girls tennis and girls soccer both won. The boys soccer team lost.

The high school volleyball season begins Thursday night at 7PM for Owatonna, playing at top-rated Prior Lake. The match will be heard on Kat Kountry 105FM and via the radioPup app.
