The Triton High School boys golf team made school history again on Wednesday. The Owatonna High School girls lacrosse team won on the road as the home team to open the section tournament.

The high school spring sports season has already reached the point of section play. Here are a handful of local teams that could make an exciting post-season run.

Husky baseball and softball split their games against Winona on Wednesday. Boys tennnis and lacrosse are scheduled for Thursday, with a 6PM boys lacrosse game on KRFO AM 1390.

KRFO Radio will present live play-by-play coverage of the Owatonna boys lacrosse game against Minnehaha Academy on Thursday, May 7, at 7PM on AM 1390.

Owatonna High School girls lacrosse and girls golf prevailed through the questionable weather conditions to win home events on Tuesday.

April wrapped up with another great spring sports day. OHS baseball, girls lacrosse and boys tennis all picked up wins. Girls golf finished mid-pack. Softball and boys lacrosse came up short.

While their unbeaten seasons came to an end Saturday, both the Owatonna High School girls lacrosse and boys tennis teams have had strong starts to their seasons.

Owatonna High School boys lacrosse opens Saturday, April 11, at Hopkins. The girls go to Hastings on Tuesday, April 14, for their opener. The home opener for both is Saturday, April 18.
